we will explain step by step how to install Linux Kali step by step, you can install it in your computer  alone or Dual boot with windows, other way install it in virtual machine (VMware) and you can find pre-installed VMware Kali image from offensive-security , you can use it live USB , at least you can install Kali in AMR (tablet or android phone) in next Article we will explain this.

Prepare to installation

  1. download your ISO kali from here as your PC platform support 64 Bit or 32 Bit
  2. burn kali to DVD or make a live USB bootable. check How to Create Bootable Kali Linux USB
  3. be sure your PC or Virtual Machine is set to boot from CD/USB in your BIOS

Start installation

  • Boot with your installation media you will see welcome screen from Kali include options for installing Kali choose  Graphical Installation

  • Select your proffered Language

  • Select your location and click Continue

  • Configure the network write host name I use bouloslab

  • for Domain Name  Leave blank and click Continue

  • Set up users and passwords – enter your root password and click Continue

  • Partition Disk, you have to option use entire disk or Manuel – entire disk means OS will create in whole disk one partition and installed in it, Manuel OS will create separate partition and install in one of partition. I choose to use Manuel way.

  •  Select hard disk

  • you can choose ‘Automatically partition the free space’ (recommended for a new user) or ‘Create a new partition’ .  I am choosing to create a new partition and clicking Continue

  • Enter the size of partition. It should be more than 10 GB I will use hole hard disk as one partition . Click Continue
